Unlike other plugins, it allows you not only to create tables but also pie charts in a professional way. For example:
You can import data from Excel, CSV, PHP and many other sources.
You can change the table color, hide on some devices, add CSS, add a border or pagination.
Once you have created the table you like, you can copy and paste it into your article using the shortcodes or within Elementor, WPBakery Page Builder or Visual Composer using a specific function.
The plugin also allows you to add a search bar with various functions such as “Copy to clipboard”, “Export to CSV”, “Export to PDF”, “Export to XLS”.
Calculation tools are also available which, as the name implies, could help all those who have to deal with many numbers. Not only math sites but also crypto currency and investment sites.
No coding knowledge required
Advanced filters and search
Offers the ability to highlight rows and columns
Most beautiful and modern graphics available online
Ideal for: those who need to show graphs and those who want to have everything and are therefore willing to buy the pro version, which offers many more functions than many other plugins on the list combined.
It is one of the most downloaded and active Plugin Tables on WordPress. I have dealt with this plugin several times and it never really drove me crazy.
It certainly has all the features you might need, but the problem is the design which is a bit outdated or should be updated anyway.
All these problems would be solved right away if you are willing to pay for the pro version which simplifies the whole process of creating a table.
The founders of the plugin claim that their plugin does not affect website performance. Indeed it is, but in reality the other plugins do not impact in any way.
But they are one of the few table plugins that take advantage of AJAX and that will make speed freaks like us happy.
Ninja Tables also allows you to import data in CSV and JSON format from other list table plugins such as TablePress, Ultimate Table and Supsystic. So if one day you want to migrate from one of the 4 plugins, you can easily do it.
With version 3.0 they introduced compatibility with their other Fluent Form plugin . This is a Contact Forms plugin (if you want to learn more we have made a detailed article).
This combination allows you to add modules inside tables! Amazing.
Tables that can be made:
Affiliate Product Table (Amazon, Ebay)
Reactive Product Specifications Table
Member list table
Product comparison table
Unlimited colors within the table
You can add images to it
Synchronize with Google Excel
It does not slow down the site
Unlimited colors and customization of the table
WooCommerce product table
Rich Media integration with WP table
FrontEnd table export: CSV, print, PDF
Ideal for: Those who need extensive customization.
TablePress is currently used by over 800,000 sites. This means it is the most used plugin on the list. In our opinion it might be the best choice if you are not willing to buy the pro version of the other plugins.
In fact, TablePress is by no means the most intuitive plugin on the list. If you are used to using Excel then you might find it comfortable, but for us it was a half nightmare.
The difficulty is not its functions but the customization in general.
Speaking of functions, however, it is very complete and allows you to do many things that other plugins have but for free.
If you want to download it, we advise you to test it with WP Table Builder and figure out which of the 2 you prefer.
How to use it: once installed, click “Add a table”, then you have to click on each setting and accept the notification that will appear at the top.
Once this is done you will have to click on any table and you can write everything that interests you.
As you will have understood, the process is not the simplest on the market, but in a short time you get used to it.
Visualizer is Themeisle’s official plugin . One of the oldest and most passionate WordPress teams of speed, in fact, they are the founders of the Snow theme .
If you already use other plugins of theirs, it could be a great combo, because you could create a coherent design.
Once the plugin is installed, you can create as many charts as you want.
While the other plugins allow you to do it in the Pro version, in this case you can do it in the free version, but you will not be able to import or export without paying.
So if you need graphics without ever having to export or import data, then we recommend it in all.
From a customization point of view it is the best graphics plugin on the list. In fact, you can first of all make the text appear in any part of the graph, then you can change the color of the text, the font, the size.
You can later add text at the bottom, sideways.
Regarding the graphs, on the other hand, you can customize the size of the lines and the color, you can choose between curved lines or continuous lines that form angles.
Visualizer unlike other plugins on the list, uses HTML5 and SVG technology, this latest technology allows you to make sure that the images are not grainy, so according to the screen, the image will adapt.
It also offers GutenBerg support , so you no longer have to go every time to copy the shortcode (although there is this possibility) but you can directly from your article select the Graphic you want to add.
Create area chart
An Excel-like editor is available
Can import charts from any database
You can synchronize the charts periodically
Allow visitors to edit graphics
Over 15 themes available
Responsive thanks to SVG
Ideal for: sites that need graphics (the free version is enough to be able to create them in an ideal way)
Price: Free, Pro version $ 59
Conclusions of the Best Plugin Tables
We have reached the end of the article.
We do not use any of these plugins, as we found that they offer too many features compared to what we need.
For most users, the GutenBerg table should suffice.
We are actually hoping that with the introduction of WordPress 5.6 the table will improve.
